EM Run : the event for sports car enthusiasts
Whether it is a business event or another tailor-made event in Strasbourg, the Château de Pourtalès has made its mark in hosting the most diverse events!
This summer, the Château de Pourtalès was the meeting and starting point for the participants of the third EM Run, an event that brings together owners of newer sports cars participating in a multi-day, 1500 km road trip.
Sports cars, scenery and luxurious hotels
The event EM Run is organized by the association Events Motors in Rohr since 2018. In den Jahren 2020 und 2021, the EM Run was canceled due to he restrictions caused by the
Covid 19 pandemic.
The third edition could finally take place from Wednesday 15 June to Saturday 18 June 2022. During these four days, the 140 participants and their 67 cars covered a distance of 1500 km from Strasbourg to the Dolomites, including the return trip to the Alsation capital.
Experienced in hosting tailor-made events in Strasbourg, the Château de Pourtalès had the pleasure of being the starting point for this year's EM run.
With the destination St-Moritz in the Swiss Alps, the participants started on Wednesday morning from the Château de Pourtalès to spend the night at the Grand Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski. The next day they continued to Riva del Garda in Italy, where they stayed at the Hotel Du Lac et du Parc Grand Resort. On Friday the journey continued to Nauders in Austria, to the Hotel Mein Almhof. Saturday was dedicated to the return trip to Strasbourg.
In those four days the participants were able to enjoy beautiful landscapes, stay in magnificent luxury hotels and end the day with festive evenings hosted by DJs. The EM run is not supposed to be a race but a tour where everyone can progress at their own pace and without GPS. All participants are given a road book to follow. The only rule is to arrive at each destination by 6 p.m. the latest.
