Le Château

History

The Château de Pourtalès was built in 1750 on the grounds of a country house by the family Bussière, a wealthy industrial family from Strasbourg.

Harald and Ulrike Leibrecht took over the Château in 2007. They have continued to restore and develop it. In 2009, the main building and its annex (“Le Chalet”) were converted into a hotel.

In November 2019, the new building “Le Parc” was completed. It complements the existing hotel facilities with a total of 48 rooms and beautiful conference rooms.

Uli and Harald Leibrecht, the owners of the Château de Pourtalès are very happy to welcome you to their property. Their easiness and sense of welcoming runs through the entire team of the Château de Pourtalès hotel and the DESTINATION agency.

We form an international team, in which everyone works to the best of their abilities and we would be delighted to share our enthusiasm for the beautiful region of Alsace and its history with you!

In addition to hotel accommodation or reception rooms, you can also trust us with your seminar, conference or tourist group activity projects. We will put all our skills at your service to ensure the success of your events.
